WAYS Energy at Taste of Flowood 2026: Supporting Local Business and Community

At WAYS Energy, “We Appreciate Your Service and Sacrifice” is not just what our name stands for. It is the standard we try to carry into the communities and partnerships we support. Hosted by the Chamber of Flowood, Taste of Flowood is an annual food festival featuring signature dishes and specialty items from area restaurants, live music and family activities. The 2026 event was held September 15 at Waterpointe. WAYS Energy was proud to be part of the occasion and to keep the focus where it belonged: on people, community and purpose.

Showing Up With Purpose

WAYS attended the annual community event, supported its distributor and local businesses with on-the-ground representation, provided complimentary product and used the opportunity to raise awareness for veterans and first responders.

The WAYS team on site included Luke, Brad and Roddy. WAYS is building a national brand, but that growth starts with being a good local partner. Events like Taste of Flowood let the team support retailers, distributors and community organizations face to face. That approach reflects how WAYS thinks about growth: stronger relationships create a stronger business, and a stronger business creates more opportunities to support veterans, first responders and their families.

More Than an Event

The event put WAYS alongside dozens of local food and beverage businesses and gave attendees another way to discover the WAYS brand and its mission. For WAYS, these moments matter because they turn a mission statement into something visible. Whether we are donating product, supporting a nonprofit partner, helping a distributor, serving at a fundraiser or simply being present for a community, the goal is to leave the relationship stronger than we found it.
