BIRDI Celebrity Golf Invitational Benefiting Folds of Honor

At WAYS Energy, “We Appreciate Your Service and Sacrifice” is not just what our name stands for. It is the standard we try to carry into the communities and partnerships we support. Hosted by Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts and BIRDI at Old Hickory Country Club, the invitational paired golf, celebrity guests, hospitality, auctions and entertainment with fundraising for Folds of Honor scholarships benefiting families of fallen or disabled military members and first responders. WAYS Energy was proud to be part of the occasion and to keep the focus where it belonged: on people, community and purpose.

Showing Up With Purpose

WAYS served complimentary energy drinks throughout the day and participated in an event benefiting Folds of Honor. WAYS records state the event raised more than $265,000.

The WAYS team on site included Luke, Brad and Karissa. Few partnerships align more directly with the people WAYS exists to support. The event created an opportunity to serve attendees, build mission-aligned relationships and learn more about Folds of Honor’s scholarship work. That approach reflects how WAYS thinks about growth: stronger relationships create a stronger business, and a stronger business creates more opportunities to support veterans, first responders and their families.

More Than an Event

The WAYS team met Gary LeVox, members of the Folds of Honor team, Chris Kirkpatrick and John Daly while helping support a fundraiser that WAYS records say generated more than a quarter-million dollars. For WAYS, these moments matter because they turn a mission statement into something visible. Whether we are donating product, supporting a nonprofit partner, helping a distributor, serving at a fundraiser or simply being present for a community, the goal is to leave the relationship stronger than we found it.
